Project Management Institute (PMI) has signed an agreement on 31 December 2024 through which Agile Alliance® joins PMI. Agile Alliance is a global non-profit membership organization founded in 2001 by some of the original authors of the Manifesto for Agile Software Development. This partnership strengthens the project management profession by expanding access to Agile resources, broadening skill sets, and fostering a flexible mindset.

Scrum Alliance members have elected Raj Kasturi to serve as the newest Scrum Certified Member Director on the Scrum Alliance Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning on January 1, 2025.

The Scrum Alliance has launched an updated Certified Agile Leader certification path. This revamped program is designed to equip professionals, regardless of title, level, or industry, with the leadership skills needed to sustain adaptive work environments, foster innovative cultures, and drive meaningful business results.

The Scrum Alliance has announced the appointment of Danielle deLuise as chief product officer as it further enhances its team to build on its vision to “Transform the World of Work.”

Scrum.org has announced at the Agile 2023 Conference that together with Comparative Agility they will offer a Scrum Master Improvement self-assessment. This new, free self-assessment tool allows Scrum Masters to evaluate their skills and assess areas for improvement based on the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Competencies.

Digité, Inc., a vendor Enterprise Lean/ Agile Planning and Project Management tools company, announced the change of its corporate brand from Digité, Inc. to NimbleWork, Inc. On the occasion, it also launched range of its latest AI powered Collaborative Work and Project Management tools, under the brand name Nimble.

Scrum Alliance has announced the selection of Tristan Boutros as Chief Executive Officer. Boutros was previously Chief Technology Officer for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Digital Product at the New York Times.
