Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 3.0 Released

The version 3.0 of the Scaled agile Framework (SAFe) has been released. The Scaled agile Framework is a methodology created by Dean Leffingwell to implement Agile practices at enterprise scale.

Major changes in the SAFe 3.0 version include:
* Guidance on the critical role, knowledge and responsibilities of Lean-Agile Leadership
* Enhanced Portfolio Level — new flow, new Metrics, Strategic Themes that connect business strategy to Portfolio Vision, and Portfolio-level Non-functional Requirements (NFRs)
* Lean-Agile Budgeting optimized for flow “Beyond Project Cost Accounting”
* New guidance on Coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains within larger Value Streams
* Deeper guidance on releasing software
* Expanded Code Quality practices, including Test-First, Continuous Integration and Agile Architecture
* Improved flow of the Portfolio Kanban Systems, now mapping directly to the big picture icons and Portfolio Backlog
