The 4th edition of I T.A.K.E Unconference, the only technology agnostic event in Central and Eastern Europe, will take place in the heart of Bucharest, Romania, 19-20 May 2016. The Call for Speakers is now open and software craftsmen are invited to submit proposals by December 22.
In the past three years, I T.A.K.E Unconference has grown to become a unique meeting place for top notch technology craftsmen, where they attend and get involved in talks and workshops that foster peer-learning and challenge the known paths.
I T.A.K.E Unconference features a two-days program. In a the dynamic learning atmosphere are happening inspiring hands-on sessions, presentations and free discussions about latest technologies and trends.
Participants and speakers also take part at a technical Open Space, where they share ideas and learn from each other. This way, covering their own professional objectives, they engage in conversations, Q&A sessions and live coding. Side events, like programming contest, Kata Lounge or Code with a Stranger contribute to the original approach of the event.
James Shore and Rachel Davies are the first two confirmed keynote speakers. 300 programmers, software craftsmen, architects, DevOps, business analysts, technical managers, team leaders, start-up CEOs and CTOs, from more than 12 European countries are expected to attend.
The proposed topics for this years Call for Speakers are: DevOps, Architecture, Big Data, Mobile Development, Code Quality, Functional Programming, Web Security, Business Analysis, Internet of Things, Quality Practices and Technical & People Leadership. There are 3 session types available: talk (35min), live coding (70min), workshop (105min).
