Are you a Good or an Effective ScrumMaster?

21 February 2012 No Comment

In this article, Elton Gao starts by giving us the definition of a good ScrumMaster: someone who knows Scrum well. He or she understands the do’s and don’ts and is familiar with related artifacts and tools. He or she knows how to run a daily Scrum, a planning/review/retrospective meeting and how to take advantages of related tools and so on. But is this enough?

If you are just doing this, your team might just hit the ceiling in terms of taking real advantage of Scrum and seeing its benefits. So you have to transform yourself from a good to an efficient ScrumMaster. This article presents a list of qualities of efficient ScrumMaster that will help the team go further in finding and growing its internal responsibility and productivity.
